Coffee With....Bev Smith.  Talk show host, author community activist.  Bev Smith Biography Bev Smith began her television and radio career in 1971 when she was named Pittsburgh’s first African-American Consumer Affairs Investigative Reporter for WPXI Television. In 1975, she was named News and Public Affairs Director for Sheridan Broadcasting and hosted a lively talk show on Sheridan's flagship station, WAMO. 

 Christopher discusses Innovesca with Mary Beth Wilson. Mary Beth Wilson is standing in a field of amaranth at Maggie Robertson’s farm in Sligo, PA. The amaranth is going to supply Innovesca’s first pilot run using its processing technology that enables the body to access and absorb more of the plant’s nutrients. Why is this important? Because amaranth is a nutrient-dense crop that grows like a weed in many regions but remains underutilized. And if the nutrients from a crop that is plentiful and underutilized can be optimized, the potential for solving problems in countries battling malnutrition–from the United States to countries in Africa—is groundbreaking.
